چکیده
This review examines recent advances in photocatalytic CO2 reduction using heterogenized molecular catalysts. The main part of the discussion is focused on chemistry used to attach catalysts different supports produce hybrid materials, and how this effects performance. Examples materials for colloidal dispersions solid suspensions are presented, including those based carbon nitride, chalcogenide perovskite quantum dots, metal oxides. Some key examples which has been employed make electrodes photoelectrodes photoelectrochemical also presented. In addition, incorporation into ordered, porous frameworks (MOFs COFs) discussed because it offers many new unique chemical pathways heterogenization. Lastly, an outlook field potential future impact these systems solar fuels research given.

A molecular water oxidation catalyst based on the copper complex of general formula [(Lpy)CuII]2-, 22-, (Lpy is 4-pyrenyl-1,2-phenylenebis(oxamidate) ligand) has been rationally designed and prepared to support a more extended π-conjugation through its structure in contrast with its homologue, the [(L)CuII]2- water oxidation catalyst, 12- (L is o-phenylenebis(oxamidate)). The catalytic performa...
متن کاملElectrochemical reduction of CO2 on graphene supported transition metals - towards single atom catalysts.
In this study, we have investigated the use of single metal atoms supported on defective graphene as catalysts for the electrochemical reduction of CO2 using the first-principles approach and the computational hydrogen electrode model. Reaction pathways to produce a variety of C1 products CO, HCOOH, HCHO, CH3OH and CH4 have been studied in detail for five representative transition metals Ag, Cu...

متن کاملEffect of K2O on the catalytic performance of Ni catalysts supported on nanocrystalline Al2O3 in CO2 reforming of methane
CO2 reforming of methane (CRM) over unpromoted and potassium promoted Ni/Al2O3 catalysts was studied. The catalysts were prepared by impregnation method and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), N2 adsorption (BET), temperature programmed reduction (TPR), temperature programmed oxidation (TPO) and scanning electron microscope (SEM) techniques. The obtained results showed that addition of K2...
